On the occasion of the release of its Haute Couture show for the fall winter 2016 season, Dior and its creative director and Dior makeup image, Peter Philips, have bet everything on the look. So, they decided to put stars in the eyes of their models. The brand did not hesitate to mix matt effects, gold reflections and satin powders for a resplendent effect. The idea was to create a real holiday makeup! If this seems to have conquered the public, Dior has decided to share its secrets with you and condense them into a palette specially dedicated to the gaze called Dior 5 Couleurs Splendor .

The couture jewel of Dior

Before even talking about the colors offered to you in this new make-up collection , let’s take a closer look at the sublime container imagined by Dior. The five Splendor colored powders are presented to you in a rectangular case. This is equipped with two brushes with four tips. These allow you to vary the applications according to the different renderings you want to obtain. The pressed powders, on the other hand, are nicely decorated. The one in the center is as if engraved on the material of the Dior name while everything else shows a sequin pattern very inspired by Dior’s Haute Couture workshops.

The different colors present in the 5 Colors Splendor palette

Dior has designed its powders so that they sculpt your eyes by playing with light. Each of her eye shadows is ultra pigmented. The latter are presented in a very harmonious assembly allowing to create the most beautiful gradations of colors without ever making mistakes of taste. Thus, two precious harmonies were made. One revolves more around white, silver and black. Thus, it allows to create a classic smokey eyes. However, another warmer and more enveloping blend has also been developed. This is revealed in pink, mauve and purple tones. You are then free to vary your applications by choosing the appropriate brush and opting for the use of several simultaneous powders or only one at a time.
